bMintX helps you mint things you made on Bitcoin, and move your own posts from other platforms (FLICK OFF). This page says exactly what we see and keep.
Sign in with X
- We ask X for read-only access to your profile and posts. We never ask to post, see your DMs or read your email.
- We use that access once, to read your name, picture and post, follower and following counts for your cost estimate, then we hand it straight back to X. We don’t keep a token and can’t act as you later.
- Your counts go back to your browser in the part of the link that is never sent to any server. We don’t store them.
Your X archive
When you drop your archive on the page, it is read inside your browser. Nothing in it is uploaded unless you choose to switch, and then only the posts and media you choose.
What goes on Bitcoin
Anything you mint is written to the public Bitcoin (BSV) blockchain, signed by your own wallet, and can’t be deleted afterwards. Only mint what you’re happy to be public for good. DMs are never minted publicly.
Looking up a handle
If you type a handle, we ask X for that account’s public counts. We don’t log the handles people look up.
